C-Walk - OTTOBOCK

Many prosthesis wearers want their prosthetic foot to support the most natural possible gait pattern. The C-Walk carbon foot not only makes a symmetrical gait possible but also reduces strain on both sides of the body – the one with the prosthesis as well as the sound side. The basic principle of this unique design is based on coupling a C-shaped carbon fibre spring with the foot’s base spring using a control ring. The C-Walk releases exactly as much of the stored energy in each phase of the gait cycle as you actually need to make the rollover of the foot as smooth and physiological as possible.
