 Mode of action 
Ÿ15° abduction position to avoid 
adhesions to axillary recess (frozen 
shoulder)
 ŸLateral positioning in 15° abduction to 
relieve the ventral limbus and the capsule
 ŸTo avoid stiffening of the shoulder
