REBOUND PCL - OSSUR

 The PCL, compared to the ACL, has the intrinsic ability to heal and 
regain continuity after an injury. The PCL experiences variable tensile 
forces during knee flexion. Insufficient healing after a PCL rupture 
leads to significant pathologies, such as, chronic anterior knee 
pain or knee OA. Healing of the PCL in an elongated position can 
lead to chronic instability and disability. Therefore, physiologically 
correct positioning of the PCL during conservative or post-surgical 
rehabilitation is important. 
The custom made Rebound PCL is the world’s first Dynamic Force 
PCL brace. It applies a physiologically correct dynamic force to the 
PCL during rehabilitation.
