Tilt-in-Space

The Tilt-in-Space system allows the wheelchair user to change position throughout the day, which will redistribute and relieve pressure.

This feature helps reduce the risk of developing pressure ulcers and prevent discomfort associated with prolonged sitting. The weight shifting system provides a steady and smooth recline and a sense of security for the user when reclining.

Anti-Sliding Reclining System

Sliding is a major concern for standard reclining chairs. Sliding creates shearing between the user’s back and back of the wheelchair and poor positioning. The VIP 2 solves this problem by relocating the reclining pivot point of the chair and bringing the user’s hip joint closer to it. This placement synchronises the motion of the body and the chair and minimizes sliding and shearing when reclining or sitting upright.

Foldable and Durable

The VIP 2 is lightweight and foldable and fits easily into a car trunk. The additional push-bar makes it easy to push and maneuver with just one hand and at the same time, reinforces the structure of this folding wheelchair.

Curved Headrest

The curved headrest provides a wide range of adjustment and positioning. The head pad angle can be adjusted based on the user’s head.

Tension Adjustable Backrest

Unlike conventional wheelchairs, the backrest uses adjustable velcro straps to change the tension and conform according to the wheelchair user. This helps prevent slouching and the hammock effect.

Adjustable and Detachable Armrest

Adjust the height of the armrest by moving it up or down until you find the ideal height. A proper armrest height helps to relieve loads on the neck, shoulders, and arms and alleviate stress on the back. No tools required.

The armrest is fully detachable and offers greater convenience transferring on and off the wheelchair.

Detachable Swing-away Footrest

Allows for easy transfer, on and off the wheelchair and detaches with no tools required.

AEGIS Microbe Shield

The upholstery is treated with Aegis Microbe Shield, which is approved by the FDA, EPA, EU, etc.. The anti-microbial upholstery inhibits bacterial and fungal growth, eliminates odor and is designed for easy cleaning. It is a shield for your health.

Upholstery with Cushion

Change the upholstery as the seasons change to match the warm or cold weather.

J-Hook

POSITIONING CHAIR ACCESSORY PROVIDES BETTER CARE

No need to lean over to push a recliner or tilting wheelchair. The J-hook is attendant friendly and is designed to avoid “during care injury”.

Modularized Design, Easy to Upgrade

The tilt-only chair is equipped with Angle Adjustable Backrest: -5°/ 0°/ 5°/ 10°/ 15°. It is also designed to be compatible with aftermarket backrest manufacturers, such as Jay and Matrix.

Seating Options to Best Fit Your Needs

Select from the options available to customize your seat. The back height is available in two sizes: 49cm or 54cm. The seat to floor height is available in two sizes: 49cm (7 in” castor wheels) or 46.5cm (6 in” castor wheels).
